Once again this year, SANHA® will be presenting its latest product solutions at the leading UK trade fair for plumbers and building services engineers. The focus is on three highlights that ensure the highest quality, safety and efficiency in installation:
NiroTherm® – Stainless steel system for heating and cooling
With NiroTherm®, we are presenting a stainless steel system that has been successfully established on the market since 2007. It is ideally suited for closed heating and cooling systems and impresses with its high corrosion resistance. A particular advantage: thanks to the material properties, there is no need for an additional anti-corrosion coating in accordance with national norms, which represents significant time and cost savings. The combipress® function is particularly practical. It offers three clear advantages:
- Tool compatibility: NiroTherm® fittings can be pressed using press jaws or slings with an original SA, V and M profile up to and including 54 mm. With original SA and M profiles, all stainless steel fittings can even be pressed up to 108 mm.
- Naturally, the fittings are leak-path protected. This is because, particularly in large construction projects, the various pipework systems are long and complex – and this increases the likelihood that a press point will be overlooked, even when working with the utmost care. This ensures increased protection against subsequent water damage.
- Push & Stay ensures very simple yet secure installation in any position, and the installation of drinking water and heating pipes can be easily carried out by a single person, even in confined spaces.
New to the range are NiroTherm®-F nickel-free pipes. They offer the same safety and the usual high level of ease of use during installation and are particularly economical and resource-efficient, especially for long pipe runs.
ACR Copper Press: Double beads for double safety
With ACR Copper Press, SANHA® offers an innovative solution for refrigeration and air conditioning technology that meets the increasing demands for efficiency and environmental compatibility. The system is designed for operating pressures up to 48 bar, making it ideal for modern applications, including R32, R410A, R1234yf, R1234ze and many other refrigerants. A key safety feature is the dual sealing ring and the safety zone (“T.R.A.P. Zone”) between them in the fittings, which ensures additional stability and tightness in these highly sensitive application areas. ACR Copper Press thus offers not only fast and clean installation, but also maximum operational safety – even at high pressures and under demanding operating conditions.
High-pressure brazed fittings RefHP®
In air-conditioning and cooling technology, particularly in commercial or industrial cooling systems, environmentally friendly solutions are becoming increasingly important. Optimal results are expected above all through increased efficiency and the use of ecologically (less) harmful refrigerants such as CO2 (R744). These refrigerants are used primarily in the transcritical range with higher operating pressures. Consequently, the use of CO2 leads to higher operating pressures of up to 130 bar in some cases – and at these pressures there is a correspondingly high risk to employee safety as well as to the continuous operation of the piping system and the environment.
SANHA® RefHP® fittings (series 29000) comprise high-pressure solder fittings for copper-iron pipes for use in high-pressure installations such as CO2 cooling systems. The fittings are made of copper-iron (CuFe2P, CW107C). Further advantages include full compatibility with all four CuFe pipe types available on the market, offering a high degree of flexibility and a wide range up to 2 5/8”.
