NiroSan® Industry SF (Series 19000) | Stainless steel
Why and in which areas are silicone-free products necessary?
Silicone-free products are essential in industrial sectors where even the smallest silicone particles can cause significant problems. The use of silicone-free piping systems and fittings is mandatory, particularly in the painting industry, the automotive industry and the chemical industry. SANHA® offers a wide range of high-quality, custom-made silicone-free piping systems.
Silicone particles can, for example, cause paint-wetting defects, resulting in uneven paint layers or contamination of the end products. The use of silicone-free systems is also indispensable in sensitive production processes where absolute cleanliness and the prevention of contamination are required.
This is exactly what our stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems provide (available under SANHA®-Therm). They are cleaned in a precisely controlled additional process step and demonstrably freed from oils, greases, silicones and other interfering substances. This is followed by particularly clean packaging: The individual packaging of the components ensures that they remain silicone-free until installation. This fulfils the highest quality requirements and ensures process reliability.
Premium stainless steel material
All NiroSan® press fittings are manufactured from material 1.4404 / AISI 316L. Material 1.4404 contains at least 2.3% molybdenum and, compared with conventional materials, a reduced carbon content of no more than 0.04%. This has a highly beneficial effect on corrosion resistance and often significantly extends the service life of the system compared with conventional materials.

Extensive advantages
Tool compatibility and Push & Stay
- Tool compatibility*: Can be pressed using press jaws or press loops with the original SA, V and M profiles up to 54 mm and with the original SA and M profiles up to 108 mm, thereby eliminating any risk of tool mix-ups on the construction site.
- Push & Stay: Sliding friction for simple, secure installation in any position
*Tool compatibility does not apply to special applications such as fire-extinguishing systems and industrial applications. Suitable high-pressure pressing machines and press loops can be used here.
Quick installation, no fire risk
The connection with stainless steel pipes by means of cold pressing enables quick, time-saving installation and eliminates the risk of fire during installation. This makes the NiroSan® SF piping system particularly suitable for renovation work.
Silicone-free sealing rings
The premium NiroSan® SF system is an excellent alternative for all applications that require silicone-free or LABS-free media transport, such as the painting industry. The pipes and fittings are individually packaged to protect them from contamination. The packaging film must remain undamaged until installation to ensure that the components remain silicone-free at all times.
High corrosion resistance
The premium material 1.4404 (316L) and the exceptionally clean and passivated surface of the pipes and fittings ensure high corrosion resistance.
High flexibility
- All dimensions from 15 to 108 mm
- Secure, permanent and permanently leak-tight system connection with NiroSan® stainless steel pipes:
- NiroSan® SF (1.4404/316L), silicone-free, TIG-welded, low-carbon and Mo content ≥ 2.3% for increased corrosion resistance
- Transition fitting threads in accordance with EN 10226 or ISO 7/1, types R and Rp
Marking
NiroSan® SF system fittings with a red moulded seal made of silicone-free special FKM elastomer are additionally marked on the outside with the engraving "SF" (previously, in some cases, with a green imprint).
