We are a "hidden champion"
Our high-quality pipes and fittings have been used for decades throughout Europe, Russia, Asia and Australia in residential, commercial and industrial buildings as well as in a wide range of industrial applications, including shipbuilding. According to a recent study by the University of Trier, we are among the top 9 world market leaders in the Essen area.
Hidden champions" are companies that are largely unknown to the public but are market leaders in their field. They have highly developed economic and innovative skills and are mostly active in the manufacturing sector. At the same time, the "hidden champions" are often characterised by a long company tradition as well as high innovative strength. Their products are used in everyday life, but their origins are usually unknown to the general public. According to a study by the University of Trier - commissioned by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs - SANHA has made it into the top companies from the North Rhine-Westphalia region. At our headquarters in Essen, we are one of nine companies entitled to bear the title "Hidden Champion".
Hidden champions as an important economic factor
In the study, 690 companies from all regions of the state were scrutinised. The companies generate a total of up to 150 billion euros and employ around one million people. The significance of the hidden champions for the economy of their federal state and for the German economy as a whole is considerable: the mostly medium-sized companies are the "backbone of the economy" and their successes, according to the study, are "impressive and exemplary".
Quality and innovation
At SANHA, we also attach great importance to high-quality products with an innovative character. With our lead-free fittings made of silicon bronze (CuSi), we laid the foundation for lead-free and hygienic drinking water installations years ago through our own extensive research and development work. Thanks to our combipress function, processors save themselves a lot of time and effort during installation. In the future, too, we want to keep up with the times and already offer, for example, system solutions for the transport of hydrogen, which will serve as an alternative to fossil fuels in the future. Digitalisation and services
The ability to innovate is also ensured by extensive digitalisation measures. For us, this includes, for example, the planning of piping systems for larger construction projects or the precise and up-to-date provision of data via BIM Revit, Open Datacheck/Open Datapool, Open Masterdata or according to VDI 3805 and much more.
