National Sales Manager UK
We are seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven National Sales Manager UK to lead and grow our sales efforts across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, building and managing high-performing teams, and successfully specifying piping systems with consultants and planners. He will leverage modern digital sales tools and methodologies to generate leads, convert prospects, and grow key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with overall company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the UK sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture based on clear KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Customer Acquisition & Development
- Systematically generate and qualify new leads using digital tools (e.g., Chat GPT, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, marketing automation).
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: consultants, M&E planners, contractors, investors, and merchants.
- Expand market penetration by promoting the specification of our piping systems in key projects.
- Manage and grow existing accounts with a focus on increasing share of wallet and customer loyalty.
Digital Sales & CRM
- Drive the adoption and effective use of CRM system to manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Use data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify opportunities, and forecast accurately.
- Implement AI-driven tools for lead scoring, email automation, pipeline optimization, and customer insights.
Project & Channel Management
- Develop a dynamic industrial customer target list with tailored application proposals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal product and pricing strategies per customer segment.
- Support project management efforts including project tracking, information availability, and progress monitoring.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Ensure the availability and effective usage of UK-relevant marketing materials across all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate on trade show planning, digital campaigns, and other go-to-market initiatives.
Sales Controlling & Reporting
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics (volume, margin, pipeline health, close rate, etc.).
- Deliver regular performance updates and market insights to the CSO and leadership team.
- Provide strategic input on recruitment, onboarding, and development of sales team members.
Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
- Demonstrated success in a national B2B sales leadership role, ideally within the building services, piping systems and MEP sector.
- Experience specifying technical products with planners, consultants, or architects.
- Strong command of digital sales tools and CRM platforms.
- Skilled in developing and executing data-driven sales strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “hunter” mentality and hands-on approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- UK-based with flexibility for national travel.
