Job description

As Business Development Manager Industry, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our international sales strategy, with a strong focus on Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and special industrial applications. You will work closely with our product development teams to provide solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers in various industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an international sales strategy focused on OEM customers and industrial applications, including hydrogen, renewable energy and other advanced sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and actively approach new prospects.
  • Support customers in selecting products that fit their specific needs, with a focus on technical solutions and product innovations.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends in industrial markets worldwide, especially in regions where hydrogen technology and sustainable solutions are becoming increasingly important.
  • Working closely with internal departments such as product development, product management, engineering and marketing to translate customer needs into commercial solutions.
  • Preparing and negotiating quotations, contracts and price agreements with customers.
  • Keeping track of market developments, competitive analysis and customer needs.
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers, often in conjunction with engineers and technical teams.

Profile:

  • Preferably at least 2 years' experience in an international sales or business development role within industry, preferably in the OEM, industrial applications or technology sectors. Recent graduates may of course also apply.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing sales strategies and closing contracts in international markets.
  • Technical knowledge/interest in industrial products and systems, with a strong interest in innovations such as hydrogen and sustainable applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (knowledge of other languages is an extra).
  • Independent working attitude, proactive, results-oriented and able to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
