SANHA®-Therm Industry (series 28000) | Carbon steel
System description
The SANHA®‑Therm Industry piping system consists of proven SANHA®‑Therm Industry press fittings with a red FKM moulded sealing ring (fluorocarbon / fluoroelastomer) for high‑temperature applications and SANHA®‑Therm carbon steel pipes in accordance with DIN EN 10305‑3. Pipes and press fittings are electro‑galvanised on the outside; in the DZ version they are hot‑dip galvanised both inside and outside.
The carefully manufactured piping system and its components provide a highly economical solution for closed circuits such as solar thermal or heating systems. At the same time, SANHA®‑Therm Industry is particularly well suited for dry compressed air systems (DZ version). In the hot‑dip galvanised version, corresponding system pipes are available which are characterised above all by their very good bendability.
Our carbon steel system is also available in a special silicone‑free version with a red FKM sealing ring and separate packaging (series 27000).
Carbon steel pipes are subject to special conditions with regard to corrosion and may therefore only be used in compliance with the generally applicable corrosion protection regulations (see below).

Please note that pressing sprinkler pipework requires a special high‑pressure pressing sling.
SANHA®‑Therm Industry press fittings are externally marked with a red “HT” imprint (= “high temperature”).

Comprehensive advantages
Tool compatibility*: SANHA® Therm Industry fittings can be pressed using SA, V and M original contour jaws or pressing rings up to and including 54 mm, and with SA and M original contour up to 108 mm. This completely eliminates any risk of tool mix ups on site.
Push & Stay: Sliding adhesion for easy and secure installation in any position.
*Tool compatibility does not apply to special industrial applications. In these cases, suitable high pressure pressing machines and pressing slings can be used.
Fast installation, no risk of fire
The cold press connection enables fast, time saving installation and eliminates any fire risk during installation. This makes SANHA® Therm Industry installation systems particularly suitable for refurbishment projects.
High flexibility
- All dimensions from 12 to 108 mm, including 67 mm
- Secure, non detachable and permanently leak tight connection with carbon steel pipes according to DIN EN 10305 3 or DIN EN 10346 (DZ version)
- Transition threads according to DIN EN 10226 or ISO 7/1, type R and Rp
Wide range of combination options
SANHA® Therm installation pipes, externally electro galvanised:
- Longitudinally welded, pressure tight, thin walled precision steel pipes, electro galvanised on the outside
- Uncoated internal surface, ideal for heating applications (no risk of pump contamination)
- Non alloy steel E195 (RST 34 2), material no. 1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305 3
- Delivery condition +CR1
SANHA® Therm installation pipes, DZ version, galvanised inside and outside
- Longitudinally welded, thin walled precision steel pipes made of non alloy steel
- Pipes made of continuously strip galvanised steel (Sendzimir process) in accordance with DIN EN 10346
- Increased corrosion protection thanks to double sided Sendzimir galvanisation, making them ideal for use in fire extinguishing and sprinkler systems
- After galvanisation, the strip material is E195 (Z275 MBO) with material no. 1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305 3
- Delivery condition +CR2
- Available in dimensions from 22 to 108 mm (sprinkler portfolio)
Important notes on corrosion protection & installation
- Do not embed SANHA® Therm steel pipes and fittings directly in screed or install them unprotected in walls or floors.
- Screeds and permanently damp building materials may cause corrosion on steel.
- For penetrations (e.g. radiator connections), use closed cell insulation to ensure protection against moisture and disinfectants.
- In areas with high humidity, condensation, damp or damaged insulation or aggressive environments, additional corrosion protection is required (e.g. waterproof coatings or closed cell insulation).
- Improper operation (oxygen ingress, poor water quality, leaks, damp insulation) increases the risk of corrosion.
- For particularly demanding applications, we recommend NiroTherm® stainless steel systems.
Storage & transport
- Store in a dry place and off the ground; avoid airtight plastic films (risk of condensation).
- Transport under cover; do not drag pipes across the ground during handling.
