SANHA GmbH & Co. KG acquires BTE Engineering and strengthens its OEM business
Essen, 4 May 2026 - SANHA GmbH & Co. KG, one of the leading manufacturers of piping systems, has acquired all shares of BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH (BTE). The transaction closed last Thursday, 30 April 2026. The economic transfer is effective retroactively as of 1 January 2026.
Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Ilshofen, Baden-Württemberg, BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH is, like SANHA, a family-owned business with strong local roots. As a highly specialized manufacturer, BTE has been producing for many years for demanding customers in various industries, including medical technology, ventilation technology, agriculture, and heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing. The company has modern production facilities for a wide range of tube bending and forming products and currently employs approximately 125 people. The profitable company’s revenues in the 2025 fiscal year amounted to approximately 21 million euros.
With this acquisition, SANHA is strategically expanding its industrial expertise in the field of mechanical tube processing. BTE’s expertise optimally complements the Group’s existing technology portfolio and enables even stronger vertical integration—from development and manufacturing to series production for OEM customers.
The SANHA Group views the integration of BTE as an important step toward strengthening its position as a reliable development partner for OEM customers, particularly in application areas where precision-manufactured pipe components play a central role.
