Nickel-free, corrosion-resistant, economical: The new NiroTherm®-F pipes
We have expanded our proven stainless steel piping system NiroTherm® with a particularly economical variant of pipes: the new NiroTherm®-F pipes. They are made from nickel-free stainless steel 1.4520 (X2CrTi17) and combine cost-effectiveness with quality – a rare deal but ideal for installations in heating, cooling, and potentially even sprinkler systems.
NiroTherm®: THE alternative to carbon steel and copper
As a complete piping system, NiroTherm® offers numerous advantages over traditional piping materials in a wide range of applications. Where it really shines is when it comes to external moisture:
- Compared to carbon steel: No laborious, diligent external insulation against moisture required (e.g., for installation in screed)
- Saving installation time and costs.
- Compared to copper: High price stability thanks to the omission of expensive alloy components
- Ideal in times of currently highly fluctuating copper prices.
With NiroTherm® and especially the new addition to our range, projects in a wide range of applications can thus be realized more economically, safely, and durably than ever before.
NiroTherm®-F: Particularly interesting for long pipe runs
The new NiroTherm®-F pipes are especially suitable when it comes to metres and metres of pipe runs. With few fittings inbetween and the possibility of bending the pipes, this a clear advantage in terms of economy and versatility. What is more, the pipes’ wall thickness is equivalent to those of our 316L NiroSan® series. This means that they can possibly be approved for use in sprinkler systems (VDS). The new pipes are available in sizes up to 108 mm while the “classic” NiroTherm® system continues to be available in an expanded range up to 168.3 mm, making it suitable for large-volume applications as well.
By the way: NiroTherm® was introduced as far back as 2007, having been expanded and installed in households, industry, agricultural buildings and more ever since and making it a trusted industry benchmark for press fittings.
