Refrigeration in supermarkets: 20 % energy savings possible
SANHA RefHP piping system allows safe handling of high operating pressures
23.01.2017
Brand new research shows that supermarkets can save up to 20 % of energy when they switch to CO2-based transcritical systems. The study published in Applied Thermal Engineering reveals a noticeably higher COP (coefficient of performance) for these systems compared to classic HFC refrigeration. To handle the high pressures associated with the transcritical approach, SANHA has introduced its special series 29000 “RefHP”. The system allows an operating pressure of up to 130 bar.
