Fittings for CO2-systems: SANHA product range expanded
German quality manufacturer of piping and press fit systems SANHA has expanded its RefHP range (series 29000). The fittings are now available in dimensions from 3/8” to 2 1/8”.
The piping system continues to be popular as it offers an efficient and safe alternative to commonly used materials.
With the product expansion, the company has acted quickly to implement experiences gathered from a host of new projects with transcritical cooling systems. In addition to new dimensions, the range now includes more tees, bends and a new reducer.
The SANHA RefHP system is made from CuFe2P. This high-strength material is harder than traditional copper and as such can resist higher operating pressure even after hard soldering. “This makes the RefHP piping system particularly well-suited for piping in transcritical areas such as CO2,” says Sven Kalbitzer, Marketing Manager for SANHA. “Less weight and easier installation are the main reasons why the system has gained a lot of popularity since its introduction last year.
“We believe that this positive trend will continue, since CO2 refrigeration can lead to energy savings of up to 25 %, for example in supermarkets.”
