Committed to providing the best training in the building services sector for the pipes and fittings industry, SANHA offers the complete package with various training programmes for engineers and installers.

A detailed CPD for engineers and a comprehensive 30 point training programme aimed at contractors and installers boost SANHA’s already competitive footing in the industry.

Highlighting the recent changes to the EU Directive on Drinking Water, the CPD gives the opportunity to discuss ways to reduce the levels of lead in water systems and offer information on components that are 100% lead free.

Subjects of the CPD include:

  • Review of tradition pipework and connecting methods
  • Introduction to press technology
  • Pipe system design considerations
  • Practical observations
  • EU Drinking Water Directive and what it means for system design

In addition to their CPD training, SANHA’s onsite training programme for contractors and installers provides an insight course on application guidelines and tool procedures.

Designed to be delivered prior to installation, Technical Sales Managers from SANHA provide a brief background on product manufacturing and design before educating on the do’s and don’ts of the press tool world.

A recent training programme carried out by Technical Sales Manager Dave Lancaster at The Eagle, situated on City Road in London, gave mechanical pipefitters from Redrose the opportunity to brush up on their SANHA knowledge.

The training not only gives attendees further understanding into the products and their applications of use but also qualifies them for a certificate for installation that lasts for two years. This certificate helps to guarantee the installed system and allows for peace of mind that the installation has been fitted correctly.

“We can provide a lot of services for our customers to take the weight off their shoulders. They want to know that when they walk away from a press fitting that it’s going to be right, that it’s not going to leak,” Mr Lancaster said.

Advanced fitter from Redrose, Ian Wicking said that he was profoundly encouraged by the lengths the sales team would go to provide assistance if needed. He added: “The training was excellent; it’s something that we don’t get enough of. Their after sales are brilliant, if there is anything we ever need to know the sales guys are just on the other end of a phone call.”
